During a period where we were building our own home and at the same time a very large restaurant we encountered a problem trying to source quality products to build our kitchen back home that fit our budget. Our subcontractors back home were sending us prices that seemed to make us lose hope of achieving our vision.

A chance interaction led us to meet a local craftsman for the same products and we requested a proposal using the same designs. We were not only amazed by the value but we finally found someone who could actually achieve the bespoke design we were looking for. At the same time, we kept noticing something striking: extraordinary homes and restaurants.

The feeling of being in awe at some of the designs in Europe in a smaller economy country like Greece made us ask the same questions over and over: How were these places even possible? Where did these products come from? How much would it cost to these things ourselves? How could we achieve some design ideas in our own home and hospitality business if the products weren’t available at reasonable prices here in the US market?

Those questions led us down a journey of discovery which led to our very first projects for our own homes and businesses. After doing it for ourselves and experiencing the benefits of world-class quality and extreme value we weren’t as intimidated by the idea of importing our products from Greece. In fact, the process was less stressful and more transparent than traditional methods we had used before and we quickly tried to help our friends and family achieve the same success.

Soon after Theta was born as a design house specializing in sourcing and producing luxury products for home and business.
